Notice is hereby given that the 2022 Assessment and Tax Roll of La Paz County is now in the treasurer’s possession for collection of the taxes levied. One-half of the taxes on all personal property and one-half of the taxes on all real property will be due and payable the first day of October, 2022. Such taxes will be delinquent on the first day of November, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. and interest will be added to the tax from the time of the delinquency at the rate of sixteen percent (16%) per year simple, prorated monthly as of the first day of the month until paid unless either: the first half of the taxes are paid before they are delinquent or the full year tax is paid on or before December 31, 2022. Postmarked payments are accepted.
The remaining one-half of such taxes will be due and payable on and after the first day of March, 2023 and will become delinquent on the first day of May, 2023 at 6:00 p.m., unless paid prior to, with a like interest. The full year taxes may be paid at the time the first installment is due. The minimum acceptable payment is $10 or 10% of the tax due, whichever is greater.
